These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of auctionscope.in and related services (collectively, "Auctionscope", the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1.Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. We may modify these Terms at any time; the updated version takes effect when posted, and your continued use constitutes acceptance.

2.Description of the Service

Auctionscope is an information aggregation and search platform for bank and financial-institution auction listings. We compile publicly available auction notices and present them with search, filtering, AI-assisted chat, watchlists, and alerts to help you discover and track listings. The Service does not host auctions and is not a party to any auction or sale.

3.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using Auctionscope, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you will comply with all applicable laws.

4.Information Platform Only — Not an Intermediary

Auctionscope does not conduct auctions, sell or offer to sell any property or asset, and does not act as an agent, broker, intermediary, or adviser in any transaction. We do not handle bids, payments to banks, earnest-money deposits, or the transfer of any property. All auctions are conducted by the respective banks, financial institutions, or their authorised platforms. We do not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, legal status, or title of any listing beyond presenting information sourced from official notices.

5.Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6.Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features are offered as a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and inclusions are described at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay, and are subject to their terms. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing prospectively; changes do not affect a subscription period already paid for.

7.AI-Generated Content

The Service includes AI-assisted chat and search powered by third-party language models. AI-generated responses are provided for convenience only, may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or investment advice. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it.

8.Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and compiled data, is owned by Auctionscope or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

9.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to extract data, or bypass any access restriction or rate limit;
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account;
• Submit false or misleading information, or impersonate any person or entity; or
• Use the Service in any way that infringes the rights of others.

10.Third-Party Links and Content

The Service contains links to third-party websites and resources, including bank and auction-platform pages and official sale notices. These are provided for your convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and linking does not imply endorsement.

11.Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any listing information is accurate or current. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

12.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auctionscope and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or losses arising from auction participation, transactions, or reliance on the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

13.Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Auctionscope from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14.Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

16.Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved, it will be subject to the governing law and jurisdiction set out above.

17.Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when the latest changes took effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18.Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Auctionscope regarding the Service.
